Events at the Swansea Town Hall

The Swansea Town Hall and the Swansea Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion commemorate the men of Swansea who gave their lives in WWI and for whom the Swansea Memorial Library was created. We also honor all those who served in wars, peace keeping missions and sacrificed themselves for our Country. Our Remembrance Day Service will be held on Sunday, November 11th  starting at 10:45 a.m. in front of the Swansea Town Hall.  Everyone is welcome.

The West End Antique Show is coming to the Swansea Town Hall on Sunday, November 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the 5th year.  Items for sale include Silver, China, Glass, Collectibles, Linens, Furniture, Art, Jewellery, Books and so much more.  Lunch and Evaluations are available and Admission if Free.

Art comes back . . . The Swansea Town Hall has resumed its role as a local Art Gallery.  There will be monthly shows curated by Mary Catherine O’Brien – Swansea artist and educator.  Art work will on display in  the common areas of the Swansea Town Hall on the 2nd level and are for sale. CPR and First Aid.. Royal Scottish Country Dancing…                                                                                                                               Have fun, meet people and get some exercise by joining our classes. Tai Chi with a difference . . .                                                                                                                                       Tai Chi and QiGong exercises are part of traditional Chinese martial arts, widely practiced since the 16th century in China to slow down the process of aging and improve circulation of the body.  Regular practice can relieve pain, release stress and tension and improve mental performance.
