Funding and Tuition Committee
The funding and tuition committee (FTC) is a PGSS committee that was created at it’s June 2006 council meeting. The committee is mandated to conduct and gather research on issues of funding and tuition, and to devise a PGSS policy on these issues. Whereas AGSEM is very concerned with issues of graduate student funding and tuition, as well as several related issues such as time to completion and undergraduate enrolment levels, AGSEM’s VP external, in his role as a PGSS councilor, has secured a seat on this committee. Click HERE for a preliminary report which was created by the FTC and accepted at the PGSS August 2006 council meeting. The FTC is currently working on developing a preliminary PGSS policy to be presented to council in December 2006. Stay tuned!
