ACTION UPDATE |
Urgent Call to Action
Stop the P3 Hospitals & For-Profit MRI/CT clinics
On November 21, the new provincial government announced it will go ahead with P3 hospital projects in Ottawa & Brampton. Conservative MPPs have said they are "thrilled" that the deals look virtually identical to those that the Conservative government had planned. Pre-election promises to stop the P3s and for-profit MRI/CT clinics appear to have been dropped. More P3 hospitals are in the works across Ontario. Urgent actions & events have been called to keep our hospitals and the services they contain public. A briefing note on the P3 announcement can be found at: http://www.web.net/~ohc/112403.htm>
