Toronto — "We are very pleased that the government has made a reinvestment in hospital MRI-CT services", said Ethel Meade, co-chairperson of the Ontario Health Coalition, commenting on the governments announcement of upgrading Hospital MRI and CT services.

"The new machines should be able to do more scans, they will be integrated into existing management structures and be able to make better use of staff. This is a win- win situation for our health care system, government finances, and patients waiting for diagnostic services", continued. Ms. Meade.

"We hope this move indicates a change in the government’s approach and signals a renewed commitment to our public, non-profit health care system. Kudos to the government", commented Ross Sutherland, a member of the Health Coalition’s Administration Committee.
