The McGuinty government has announced 23 P3 hospitals to date. Almost all of them are not scheduled to be finalized until after the next election and can be stopped. We can stop the P3s with mass grassroots community opposition across the province.

We are organizing citizens’ votes to keep our hospitals public. So far, we have approx. 30,000 votes and an average of 98.5% on the side of public services. Hamilton’s city-wide vote to keep our hospitals public will be March 25th! Stop the P3 privatization of our hospitals and public services! Book your buses! Car pool! Walk, wheel or ride! Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make this vote a success.

This is a huge, but absolutely achievable, undertaking. We need your help. We need 600 volunteers to take to the streets in Hamilton on Saturday, March 25th, with ballot boxes to pull in the vote to keep the hospitals public. We are asking our members to get buses, vans, carpools etc together and head down to Hamilton between 9 and 10 am, Sat. March 25th. Let us know you’re coming and we’ll provide the where, what, when, etc.
