The new government is trying to abandon its promises to stop the privatization of hospitals and diagnostic services. On Friday, November 21, they announced that they are moving ahead with the P3 hospitals in Brampton & Ottawa. They hope to sign the deals by the end of December. Over $8 billion in privatized hospital deals could follow if we don't stop them. One week after the election, the new premier said that reverting the private MRI & CT clinics to public hospitals was the government's priority. Two weeks later he was waffling. The privatized clinics weren't even mentioned in the Throne Speech.
