Enthusiastic endorsement from over 300 at defenders of medicare convergence

The campaign to dismantle Medicare is reaching a fever pitch as supporters of the for-profit health industry carry out a sophisticated public relations strategy across the country. Ontario has responded with our own unprecedented campaign to defend public Medicare and promote a just vision of progressive reform. On December 1, over 300 community activists representing more than 80 organizations enthusiastically endorsed the campaign. Important community kick-off organizing meetings are being planned across the province.
