Eves Appoints Privatizer Lobbyist As Chief of Staff
In a recent article, Pundit Magazine notes that Steve Pengelly has been appointed to the top job in new Ontario Premier Ernie Eves' office. According to Pundit, Pengelly has worked for the last three years for Capitol Hill Group, an influential lobbying firm whose clients included Endopisis Medical Inc. for whom Pengelly lobbied the Ministries of Finance, Health and the Premier on what is described in the Lobbyist Registry as "hospitals, privatization and outsourcing." He also lobbied on behalf of corrections service privatizers, logging multinationals, pharmaceuticals, and tuition deregulation. PULSE Table of Contents
