surveyTHIS!
The province wide action "surveyTHIS!" is a chance to challenge the provincial Conservatives to actually listen to what we have to say about our health care system. Remember the glossy health surveys we all got in August? The ones that asked us if we wanted more nurses and staff or if we would rather have diagnostic equipment? Those surveys were a dangerous and poor substitute for real public consultation. In the Provincial Legislature the Conservative government is patting themselves on the back for these surveys. Meanwhile they have spent six years privatizing and eroding public Medicare in Ontario without any opportunity for real public input whatsoever.
On October 24 the Ontario Health Coalition is urging you to join with other community members to demand real public consultation. See the list below for the contact person in your community.
