Key messages:

  • we are disappointed that he is breaking his election promise to stop for-profit health care. We want him to live up to that promise.
  • we want him to support strings and standards attached to funding of healthcare
  • we want the principles of the Canada Health Act to be enforced and to cover any new homecare & pharmacare programs
  • we want him to ensure home support services are covered publicly in Ontario
  • we want to see meaningful cost controls for drugs
