Associates For Change is made up of a group of highly qualified development professionals with a long history of work experience in Africa and Asia. All lead consultants have worked in a variety of cross-cultural situations demanding a high level of sensitivity. AFC pulls on a variety of expertise from the University, Private and NGO sector within Africa and the western world. Each of the associates has a demonstrated ability in a particular area of expertise with extensive work experience in the consulting field. The consultants have a high moral commitment and proven track record working in Africa and Asia.
 
 
Leslie Casely-Hayford (PhD) - is Director of Associates For Change and has been working in the field of International Development since 1986. She has consulted for a variety of international agencies including the World Bank, UNAIDS, UNESCO, CIDA, Department for International Development (UK) and USAID. She has advised governments and donor agencies on poverty reduction, educational development, gender and HIV/AIDS.
     
 
Aba Quaynor (M Phil) - Aba is an accomplished gender analyst and small medium enterprise expert. She has worked on several projects as the lead consultant with the World Bank and other donor agencies. She has conducted social assessments and gender analysis for Ministries and donor agencies including the World Bank, DFID and UNDP. She specializes in gender equity and development issues.
     
 
Vivian Sarpomaa Fiscian (M Phil) - Vivian is an accomplished social development researcher in the fields of demography, reproductive health, gender and education in Africa. She has conducted extensive research in child rights and the abuse of girls, as well as the impact of HIV/AIDS on education. She has lectured in sociology at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
     
 
Adom Ghartey - is a highly qualified development consultant who has vast experience in the field of good governance/decentralization, development planning and evaluation. Adom is an experienced trainer with special expertise in strategic planning and management with the non-profit sector in Africa. He has developed and evaluated several training programmes for the private, NGO and Government agencies.
     
 
David Korboe (PhD) - has consulted for several development agencies in the areas of poverty reduction, educational development and social assessment. David often serves as a lead consultant with research/evaluation teams focused on beneficiary assessment, operational research for project design and evaluative research. He has worked extensively with the World Bank, DFID and several NGO's.
