Bach in the Saddle III

Welcome to Bach In the Saddle III, the third in a series of collaborations with the Gala String Quartet. It was held on Saturday, December 6th, 2008 at the Eastminister Church, on the Danforth. Like the previous two concerts, it featured a fascinating blend of musical styles, this time, with a Holiday flavour.

This was in support of the Woodgreen Community Centre Toy Drive. Please see the press release and poster for details.

Bach in the Saddle II ... Again

The first concert was so much fun, they did it again in June 2008 (see the poster and press release for the June event "Bach in the Saddle Again").

In March 2008, Whiskey Jack stuck out their proverbial necks and perform a musical high wire act. They joined with the Gala String Quartette for a natural union of musical styles, enhanced by cellos and violas etc. Each group performed separately but combined forces for a few numbers.
