Don't you like how the people that don't work shift are the ones that get to pick the shift pattern we work. Most of us that work shift don't even realize how many choices of shift patterns there are to work. Since working at Alcan I have worked three different patterns and I definitely feel better working two days and two nights and having four days off than on any other one of the patterns that they have come up with. I would like to know of any other people out there with 12 hour shift patterns and what they like and dislike about it. I know that I walk around the majority of the time so sleep deprived that I feel like I have been drinking, sort of like the dateline edition where the drunk driver and the sleep deprived driver couldn't be told apart. What a scary thought as we all leave in the morning...Anyway happy July 1st everyone.
