Booking a Car

Online Booking

If you are a member of the Carsharing Co-operative, you can reserve our vehicle by clicking the following link (if it doesn't work, try the backup server):

You will need the login and password provided by the Co-op to access the system.

Instructions

The following graphics show the procedure for reserving a vehicle.

The page will open up to a calendar of the current month. To make a booking click on the digits of the date that you wish to book the car.

The following screen will then come up showing the current bookings for that day.

To add a booking, click on the "Create" link which opens the following page:

To make the reservation:

  1. Type your member number into the "Calendar Text" box
  2. Select the start time of your booking from the "Start Time" box, including selecting "AM" or "PM"
  3. Select the end time of your booking from the "End Time" box, including selecting "AM" or "PM"
  4. Click the "Submit" button in the lower left-hand corner

You will be returned to the "Daily Events" page, where your reservation will be displayed. To make reservations on another day you can either click on the appropriate date on the running calendar at the top of the "Daily Events" page or click on the "View Calendar" button in the upper left-hand corner. This will return you to the orignal screen (you will see the reservation you just made) from where you can make other reservations by repeating the above steps.

Notes

  • Members will only be able to view and add reservations, not delete or change them. Please double check your reservation before clicking the "Submit" button!
  • Please only book the vehicle on the hour or half-hour, and book in half-hour increments.
  • If you wish to book the car for a whole day, enter 12:00 AM to 11:45 AM, and, if you would like to keep the car until the following morning, also book the car for that next day until 7:00 AM (or whenever you wish to end your reservation).
