Neighbourwoods
Tree
Inventory Report
Report
prepared by W.A. Kenney &
D. Puric-Mladenovic
Below you will find the Neighbourwoods Tree Inventory
Report prepared as part of the Trees Count project of
Friends of the Don East. It provides a summary
of the results of the tree inventory conducted in August
and September 2002 of four Don Valley neighbourhoods.
The report also provides detailed results for each tree
that was examined in the study, including its species,
size, condition, and any conflicts it may have with overhead
wires, buildings, sidewalks or other trees.
If
the tree(s) on your property were examined, the findings
are included in this report. Please remember that these
evaluations were carried out by volunteers. If you have
concerns about a specific tree, you should consult a professional
arborist. The following sections provide detailed
information about specific trees.
- Section
C lists trees that could be a potential hazard.
- Section
D lists potential significant and candidate heritage
trees.
- Section
G identifies potential locations where new trees could
be planted.
- The
raw inventory data for all trees is found in Appendix
A.
The
size of each section is listed. You may view or download
the report
in its entirety (3.22 MB).
