TECHNOLOGY FAIR
INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS
Husita8 Conference Sponsors are invited to take advantage of an opportunity to exhibit at the Conference Technology Fair.
Booth Information:
The exhibits will be located throughout the second floor conference level at 89 Chestnut Conference Centre. Refreshment breaks will be held in the exhibit areas in order to encourage viewing by attendees.
Exhibit Hours:
Monday, August 27, 2007 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. -
Tuesday, August 28, 2007 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. -
Wednesday, August 29, 2007 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Booths should be set-up and manned throughout the exhibit hours.
Space Assignment:
Priority space will be assigned to conference sponsors. All other booths will be assigned on a first-come basis.
Set-up and Dismantling:
Booths may be set up between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2007 and must be dismantled between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. You will be required to set up your own booth and product. No labour is available on site.
Insurance & Safety:
HUSITA will not provide insurance for exhibitor's property. Exhibitors must insure their exhibit materials, goods, and/or equipment against theft, damage by fire, accident or loss of any kind at their own expense. The exhibitor agrees to accept full responsibility for compliance with fire, safety and health ordinances. This includes the use of safeguards and devices to prevent personal accident to spectators. Only fireproof materials should be used in displays.
General Rules:
The purpose of the exhibit area is to provide information for attendees on products and services pertinent to their professional interests.
- The nature and product exhibited is subject to approval of the HUSITA organizing committee. The right is reserved to refuse applications for product not meeting the standards of the organization.
- Sales presentations and equipment demonstrations are permitted only in the Exhibit area.
- All give-aways and handouts, with the exception of company literature, must be approved by the Husita8 Organizing Committee. Husita reserves the right to request the exhibitor immediately discontinue distribution of materials deemed inappropriate by Husita.
- Exhibitors are liable for any damage caused to building floors, walls and columns, or to other exhibitor's property.
- The Husita8 Organizing Committee reserves the right, should any rented exhibitor's space remain unoccupied on the opening day, or should any space be forfeited due to failure to make payment in full by the specified date, to re-rent or use the space without liability. This does not affect the obligation of the exhibitor to pay the full amount specified in the rental agreement.
- An exhibitor may cancel their contract to exhibit. However, notification must be received in writing no later than June 27, 2007 for refund of payment less $100.00 cancellation fee.
- Security, beyond what is generally provided by the venue, will not be the responsibility of Husita. It is strongly recommended that any valuable equipment be removed overnight.
- Dismantling of a booth before the official close of the show is strictly prohibited.
- The organizers cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of conference proceedings arising from political, social, or economic events or other unforeseen incidents beyond their control. Application to exhibit at the conference entails acceptance of this condition.
Technology Fair Exhibit Pricing:
Display space in the conference area from August 27 to 29
- Platinum & Gold level sponsors = Complimentary
- Other sponsors = $500.00
- Non-sponsors = $600.00
- Internet connection from August 27 to 29 = $150.00
Other display requirements are available on request.
Exhibit cost includes:

Space in a prominent area for your booth or tabletop promotion of your product. Approximate size of area is 8' x 8'.
Display furnishings to include one 8' draped table and 2 chairs.
- Publication of your organization name and logo on the Husita8 conference web site and on the list of exhibitors included in the conference package
