Through the Eyes of an Artist - 2008 |
|
|
The opening of the 15th annual “Through the Eyes of the Artist” juried exhibition was exciting this year for many reasons. We received new event sponsorship: Angela & Paul Giraudy and Royal LePage Kingsway Real Estate. We also welcomed The Assembly Hall as a community partner. Denise Dickin, Coordinator of The Assembly Hall, remarked on “future possibilities” while citing significance of Eyes being the first exhibition in the building as part of its opening ceremonies eight ago. “Lakeshore Art’s foundation was initiated with the Eyes exhibition; its sentimental value as a linchpin program has grown with its reputation over the years” enthused Georgia Kuich, President of Lakeshore Arts. |
