Lance Armstrong (originally posted June 2003)


I saw the SUBARU ad on TV with Lance Armstrong last night.




Could not help it. Yuck. His cancer-beater, Tour de France champ
faccia glaring very close up into the camera. He is a great rider, but
really I am not impressed.

SUBARU = U R A BUS !!

Lance, I never liked you. You'll never be a great champ like Merckx
or Coppi. You only care about the one bid race, the one big record
that would make you immortal for many.
Now, I respect you even less.

He lost today in France, a race he had won for five years straight until now.
He is being accused of doping again. Should be a fascinating Tour this year.
