HOME CARE AND INSTITUTIONAL CARE
- Nine organizations combined forces to hold "The Future of Long Term Care in Ontario" forums in seven Ontario cities: Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Hamilton, Windsor, Ottawa, Kingston, and Toronto. The resulting report is called "Long Term Care in Limbo or Worse".

PATENT ACT
- In March, Gerda Kaegi of Canadian Pensioners Concerned presented a joint submission with OCSCO on the issue of prescription drugs and the Patent Act to the Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce.
 
AGING AND DISCRIMINATION
