Petition for Improved Minimum Care Standards

The government committed to bringing in a care standard during the hearings on Bill 140 the Long Term Care Homes Act this winter. We need to ensure that this happens, and that the standard is adequate.

We have developed materials for the campaign to win a minimum average care level in Long-Term Care facilities to guarantee an average of 3.5 hours a day of care per resident.

The links above open Acrobat PDF documents: a petition and campaign material in the form of an 8.5X11 poster, and a mailing insert that can also be photocopied as a card. We have a leaflet version also, and will send it to you if you request it (it is 600 kb in size so we didn't want to make this download too large.)
