TORONTO - The Ontario Health Coalition will hold a media conference on Wednesday, August 11, 1999 at 11:00 am to charge the Ontario Government with an abuse of process regarding its secret passage of new Home Care regulations which limit the amount of homemaking, personal support and nursing services the public is entitled to receive.

Copies of the OHC's August 4th letter to Premier Harris regarding this breach, Regulation #386/99, as well as correspondence from the former Minister of Long Term Care, Cam Jackson, promising full public consultation before passage of the regulation, will be available at the media conference.
