AGM 2001 Accommodations

The AGM and conference will be held at the l'Hôtel de l'Institut de Tourisme et d'Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), a world-class tourism college in downtown Montreal.

Everyone at the school is bilingual; in fact, the teachers are very excited to have PWAC members staying with them because they know that we'll give their students a great opportunity to practice their English.

The facility is located right next to the Sherbrooke Metro station in the heart of Montreal's Latin Quarter. In addition to meeting facilities, the hotel has 42 rooms, including two spacious suites.

ACCOMMODATIONS

PWAC has reserved all 22 double rooms at l'Hôtel de l'Institut, and we're hoping to take over the place. The price, which includes breakfast, is $139 ($69.50 per person) per night. Children under the age of 12 can stay with parents free. Additional guests can share each room for $15, up to a maximum of four guests per room.

All rooms include two double beds, automatic coffee machine, one envelope of coffee per day, a hair dryer, an alarm clock, a magnifying mirror, a desk, air conditioning and a colour television.

Another 18 single rooms are also available, at a cost of $119 per night.

A block of rooms has also been reserved at the residences of the Université du Québec à Montréal, located three long blocks from the conference site.

UQAM Residence

We've reserved two "multi-8 facilities." Each two-level apartment has eight separate bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and three bathrooms. Each person must pay $34.99 per day for a bedroom and the use of the shared facilities.
