Come celebrate PWAC's 25th anniversary at a reception featuring past Presidents.
ITHQ's chic buffet promises to be a culinary delight.
Friday June 1, 2001
Ann Douglas, PWAC vice-president, author of more books than you can count on both hands
and mother of four, talks about "Making Big Money: How to Make a Six-Figure Income
as a Freelance Writer in Canada."

A buffet banquet on Place Jacques Cartier in the "vrai coeur" of Old Montreal.
Cobblestoned streets, stone buildings, an unbelievable ambiance... need we say more?
Join us for fabulous French cuisine and a keynote address by David Fennario,
noted Montreal journalist and award-winning playwright (Balconville) who will shake up the evening
with a call to arms about "Telling stories the others aren't willing to tell."
David will use his fine story-telling technique and wonderful sense of humour to give us
at least a half-hour talk. Not to be missed!

Choose from a host of hot topics led by
professional writers with many years of hands-on experience.
A full range of hour-long workshops will be held at 9:00 AM, 10:15 AM and 11:30 AM.
Each workshop will be held twice.
For PWAC delegates and observers, a free afternoon to explore Montreal,
kick up your heels and have fun, or just relax!
A variety of organized activities will be available,
including walking tours and other jaunts.

PWAC Montreal will bus out-of-town members and guests to a backyard feast
in the home and garden of writer Tracey Arial in the Montreal subub of Verdun.
BYOB. (There's a liquor store a few doors down from ITHQ, or you can go to any
"depanneur"--corner store--to pick up beer or wine.)

Local PWAC hosts will shepherd groups of PWAC members to their choice of
Montreal's finest reasonably priced restaurants.
Signup for your culinary adventure at the AGM Registration Desk. Pay your own way.
Restaurants include Formosa (Oriental), Mythos (Greek with bazuki band later on),
Mazurka (Polish), Chou Chien (Thai), Blue Lotus (Chinese), and Cafeteria (nouvelle cuisine).
