Notes
From OLGA. Chords: wvaughan@magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu (William Vaughan)Capo on 2nd fret.
Timing is everything here, so listen to the record too. With the main picking pattern, during the verses and the first two times in the intro, the high E string isn't picked - everywhere else the progression shows up, it is. A case could be made that the C/G is really Gsus4, but the latter sounds better to me. On the last line of the verse (F, C, G) stress the bass strings.Alternative Arrangement Live Chords

We were not moved by them

*same*
With my own hands
When I make love to your memory
It's not the same
I miss the thunder
I miss the rain
And the fact that you don't understand
Cast a shadow over this land
But the sun still shines from behind it
*same*
Thanks all the same
But I just can't bring myself to answer your letters
It's not your fault
But your honesty touches me like a fire
The polaroids that hold us together
Will surely fade away
Like the love that we spoke of forever
