Nirvanda Savoury, was born into a family of entertainers in Toronto, Canada, her mother is a trained dancer of Jamaican-Chinese heritage, and her father a singer/songwriter of Jamaican heritage. Her mother tells the story of Nirvanda waking each morning with the birds; and singing in response to them from the time she was a baby. "At my first ballet recital at age three, I announced that I was going to be a famous singer and actress! (She laughs). I guess you can say that I had chosen my career path from back then!" In keeping with the family tradition, she was enrolled into vocal and dance lessons from a very early age, and continued these studies throughout elementary school. She attended Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, the only Catholic high school for the arts in the province of Ontario where she explored the Music and Dance program intensely. Throughout this time, Nirvanda performed regularly in various community arts events where she rapidly grew to love entertaining. Nirvanda's love for performing is what propelled her to make the decision to pursue a career in music and entertainment.

"My mother says that while I was in her womb, my father used to write songs and sing them to me..... So it's only natural that I'm going to love music!"

Nirvanda's has worked with many hit producers, including those exclusive to Sean "Puffy" Combs. She also landed on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie "Honey" with a song produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, featuring rappers Jadakiss and Sheek. And continues to work on her project with producer Screwface, the force behind multi-platinum recording artist Monifah. Her musical inspirations include Donna Summers, Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, and many of the other legendary artists that impacted music, and it's development over the years...

AHANAIE has widened its family circle to welcome Nirvanda a young woman with poignant grace and remarkable talent. Her voice is filled with a rare beauty and power that emanates from deep within. Nirvanda conveys intimate warmth and emotional feeling when and wherever she performs. To hear it in her words : "I give 210% when it comes to music and performing. Nothing less. I can't have it any other way!"
