| The Access Fund Removing barriers to opportunity and civic contribution |
 rillium is proud to announce a one-time-only $1.5 million grants program specifically developed to increase the capacity of organizations and communities to provide barrier-free employment, volunteer, and employment-bridging opportunities. Funds are available for shared-cost grants to non-profit, incorporated organizations, to a maximum of $50,000 for renovations, and $15,000 for equipment. Organizations who have already received a Trillium grant, or are planning to apply under other Trillium programs, are also eligible to apply to the Access Fund. These grants will pay up to 90% of the direct and indirect costs for renovation, installation and/or equipment. While this fund is designed specifically for equipment and capital costs associated with barrier-free access, applicants must demonstrate that this request is part of an overall plan and commitment to inclusiveness of people with disabilities. The Access Fund is a key component in Trillium's overall strategy to create strong, vibrant communities, and to celebrate the potential for each individual to contribute to our society in positive and imaginative ways.
