The Toronto Women’s Bookstore is looking for people who want to learn more about women’s writing, community development and event coordination by volunteering at the Bookstore.
In preparation for our 25th anniversary celebrations in 1998 we need creative, energetic people to participate in brainstorming, publicity, and event staffing. We are planning major author readings, parties, courses, workshops, and a reading group.
The Toronto Women’s Bookstore relies on its volunteers to support our many activities and events throughout the year. The skills and energy of volunteers is invaluable to our survival as an independent, non-profit, community bookstore.
The aim of our volunteer program is to match volunteers’ skills and interests with the needs of the bookstore. If you have skills and ideas to make our 25th year special please fill out a volunteer form .
