The Hague Appeal for Peace is a global campaign led by people, not
governments. It was initiated by four groups: The International
Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms (IALANA), the
International Peace Bureau (IPB), The International Physicians for the
Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), and the World Federalist Movement-
Institute for Global Policy (WFM).

Since its founding, hundreds of non-governmental organizations have
endorsed the Hague Appeal for Peace. The HAP Organizing Committee
consists of a broad array of human rights, disarmament, religious,
humanitarian, women's, and concerned professionals' groups. The HAP
Honorary Committee is made up of Nobel Laureates from across the globe
who will help support and participate in the upcoming Conference. In
addition, thousands of dedicated individuals will gather with us at
the Hague in May to help create an agenda for a new century of peace.
