Knowing what your rights are at work is the first step to ensuring that workers in your workplace are treated respectfully, fairly, and pursuant to the laws that govern the employee-employer relationship.

Because workers rights are largely the result of workers' persistent struggles and activism, the employee-employer relationship is governed by a collection of laws, which came into effect at different periods in time.

Workers Deserve a Voice in the Workplace

It is important for workers to have a voice in their workplace to help ensure that their rights are protected. Sometimes the law is not enough to assist workers, and so workers must look to other strategies to ensure their rights are protected in the workplace, and that "bad" bosses are held accountable.
