Websites for Social Enterprises

Whether it is providing Canada's Inuit with the facility to work online in their own language, creating an information hub for youth living in Toronto Community Housing, or building a website for the United Church of Canada, Web Networks' goal is to use our proven open source systems to meet our client's goals in organizational, technical and business environments.

"Our current project was suited to the mission of what Web does. The nature of the project was that it couldn't be done on a purely commercial basis.  There was a lot of risk involved. Web Networks was willing to take it on because of the project's importance.

"A major goal was to allow the Nunavut government to give the Inuit people access to Web content in Inuktitut, their native language. This is now happening.

Pro Bono Students Canada

Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) is the world’s only national pro bono student organization. When their staff approached Web Networks, they had a customized system for managing the site that was awkward and largely unworkdable. On a tight budget, Web Networks migrated the site design, functions and content to our easy to use Drupal system, giving Prob Bona staff complete control of the site.
